The Boston Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators recently held its bi-annual educational conference at the Sheraton Hotel in Back Bay. This year’s theme was The Road to Success and offered sessions on succession planning, financial benchmarking, disaster recovery, and hiring the best. The committee that planned this well-attended event was organized by Kates & Barlow Office Manager Ellen Snyder, along with ALA colleague Stephanie Hood of Hemenway & Barnes. Snyder recently served on the ALA Boston Chapter board as VP of Programs. A silent auction during the closing cocktail party raised $4,800 for two charities, A Room to Dream Foundation and the New England Center and Home for Veterans.
