The lawyers from Kates & Barlow, P.C. recently volunteered to assist Chief Justice of the Probate & Family Court Angela M. Ordoñez in one of her community outreach projects-the Suffolk County Family Court Workshop for Mothers and Fathers. Chief Judge Ordoñez’s workshop brings together the Probate and Family Court, community leaders and volunteer lawyers to provide Suffolk County mothers and fathers with information on family law matters; to supply and help complete necessary forms for court proceedings; to refer those seeking to hire a lawyer to appropriate referral sources; and generally to provide information on community programs and services. A separate workshop is provided for mothers and fathers.
