Apprenticeship Program

Peter Barlow has accepted an appointment to the Advisory Board of the Boston University School of Law’s Small-Midsize Firm Apprenticeship Program (SMAP). SMAP was created to place recent law school graduates with small to midsize law firms for a one-year apprenticeship, thus giving the graduate an opportunity to demonstrate their skill and competence while adding value to the firm in the context of a defined commitment on both sides. This program’s goal is to strengthen the relationship between the law school and its graduates and the small to midsize legal community—a practice sector that is of increasing interest to students and graduates as they continue to grow and strengthen in the evolving legal market. Peter attended the first SMAP Advisory Board meeting on September 23, 2014 in the new Sumner M. Redstone Building.
